The role of the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL):

The DSL is responsible for overseeing all aspects of safeguarding and child protection, including operational and strategic monitoring, making appropriate referrals, delivering regular training, and ensuring that safeguarding remains at the core of everything we do at Sweyne Park.Ìý Working with the Safeguarding Team, the DSL ensures that all stakeholders are aware of, and understand all relevant safeguarding procedures and policies.Ìý The DSL works alongside the Local Authority and other third party agencies, sharing information as appropriate. Ìý
